97-34 - Accessory Signs for Visual or Performing Arts Uses

Notwithstanding the regulations of paragraph (b) of Section 32-653 (Additional regulations for projecting signs) and the relevant provisions of the Administrative Code, only
the following visual or performing arts #uses# fronting on 125th Street or Fifth Avenue within the #Special 125th Street District# shall be permitted to erect a #marquee sign#
on or above a #marquee#:

      From Use Group III

              Museums

      From Use Group VIII

              Art, music, dancing or theatrical studios

              Theaters.

#Flashing signs# shall not be permitted as #accessory# #signs# for arts #uses#.
