35-53 - Modification of Rear Yard Requirements

In the districts indicated, for a #residential# portion of a #mixed building#, the required #residential# #rear yard# shall be
provided at the floor level of the lowest #story# used for #dwelling units# or #rooming units#, where any window of such
#dwelling units# or #rooming units# faces onto such #rear yard#. If the level of such #yard# is at or higher than the first #story#,
decks, parapet walls, roof thickness, solar energy systems up to four feet high, vegetated roofs, and weirs, shall be permitted,
pursuant to Section 23-41 (Permitted Obstructions), inclusive.
