134-25 - Maximum Floor Plate Size LAST AMENDED 5/27/2021 Within the Southern Subdistrict, the maximum area and length of any #story# shall be as specified in this Section, as applicable. Within the Eastern Subarea, the maximum length of a #building# at any height shall be 400 feet, as measured parallel to the #street line#. For the purposes of the Section, #abutting# #buildings# shall be considered a single #building#. However, #buildings# that only #abut# via an enclosed bridge that is located at least 30 feet above the adjoining grade, and that has a width of not more than 30 feet, length of not more than 60 feet and a height not exceeding 15 feet, shall not be considered a single #building#. For any #story# fully above a height of 125 feet, the following provisions shall apply. Where a #building# has multiple portions above such height, the maximum size requirements shall apply to each portion separately. (a) In the Eastern Subarea, no #story# shall be permitted to have a gross area in excess of 30,000 square feet. (b) In the Western Subarea, no #story# shall be permitted to have a gross area in excess of 27,000 square feet.
